The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA)
The PSSA is given to students in grades 3-8. This test is administered in the Spring of each school year. Students are tested in the areas of English Language Arts (ELA) and Math at each of these grade levels. Additionally, students in grades 4 and 8 are tested on Science.

PSSA Science - April 30-May 1, 2026
Testing starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. each morning of testing.
Please help ensure your child's best effort by making sure they get a full night's rest, eat breakfast and arrive on time to school during testing.
